The Tasteful theme is a 3rd party Genesis Framework Theme made for women bloggers in the food industry. Whether you are blogging about your favorite foods or posting recipes, this theme will be sure to really wow your readers. The homepage starts with a sticky menu bar that has a search box aligned to the right-hand side. A responsive slider is the main attraction on the homepage. This is great for linking to your blog posts and recipe pages.
Tasteful’s homepage has a magazine layout feel to it. Included with this theme is a side bar and footer widgets, which are great locations for displaying information about you or prompting an e-mail opt-in form. Upload those tasty treats for all to see while blogging about them. There is a big focus on images here, so make sure you chose wisely on which photos to upload. What I like is the built in advertising blocks. Typically you would have to add code to insert ad blocks in the header or footer but not with this theme.
Let’s get to the Tasteful Theme features before you explore the demo version.
