There are many ways to earn money online – one way is by using Clickbank to promote products. If have your own product, you could list your product on Clickbank and have tons of people promote it if done right. Right now, I would like to talk about how to create an account and getting started finding a product to promote.
Let’s get starting creating a Clickbank account.
Creating a ClickBank Account
Fill in the correct information on the registration page.
The best thing about using Clickbank is that they offer direct deposits into your bank account when you reach the minimum payment threshold. The next page has a few things to fill in depending on what country you are from.
Give a nickname that you will use for your Clickbank affiliate id. It’s important you remember this ID.
Make sure you click on “settings” and edit everything which includes setting the minimum payment threshold to get a payment. It doesn’t take much to be eligible for a payment. That’s why I love Clickbank, I can get paid faster.
I set the threshold to $10. Some affiliate sites I belong to, you need at least $50 or even $100 to get a payment. Me, I’ll take any amount of payment no matter the amount. Make sure you fill in your bank details accurately to avoid any payment issues. After you do this, it’s time to view their marketplace to find products that interest you and you feel you can promote in a quality way to get commissions.
Finding Products To Promote
Go to the Marketplace:
There are products separated in multiple categories. For example, I’m going to pick a category that I have expertise in because I want to promote products I have knowledge of and can answer questions about. Once you find a product, click on the “promote” button.
On the next window, add your Clickbank ID you created into the box and hit “create” to generate an affiliate link to use. Example below:
This would be the link I use to promote a product that pays 60% commission.
Some products do have banner images to use for promoting but typically the best way to promote a product is to write a review of the product. When I do this, I make sure I buy the product and use it before writing the review. This way, I am able to answer most questions without sounding like I have no clue what I am talking about. A good affiliate marketer tests the product before promoting. This is what I have done for years with anything I promote.
At one point in time I created a product and sold it on Clickbank besides other business. So I know about promoting products and how to create a successful one that sells on Clickbank. I sold the business (years ago) so the domain is not active in my account.
If I don’t like the product, I will list the reasons why and sometimes people don’t care if I didn’t like it, they will still buy it. Be honest and people will generally respond positively.
