The Bisou theme is a 3rd party Genesis Framework Theme created for feminine bloggers who are in the eCommerce industry. This theme is built to not only collect email address’, it’s built to draw visitors straight to the shop if you set up the homepage correctly. On the homepage, you have an autoresponder box in the top header; under this is your logo and navigation bar. The rest of this shop theme is what really makes it worth the price. You have a huge widget under the navigation bar that has a responsive slider box. In this widget with the slider installed, you can link the images to different shop items, blog posts and blog pages.
Install the Genesis Responsive Slider widget as I have used that one before and it works great on mobile devices. Under the slider widget you have a few more widgets that can be used for anything you feel like. My recommendation would be to mimic the demo version. A side column and footer widget are included and the autoresponder box in the header shows up on all pages of the blog.
Here is a look at the Bisou theme features:
Bisou Theme Features
- Responsive
- HTML5
- Widgetized Homepage

After the blog post, you have a huge section to display an image and the autoresponder box. Keep in mind you can edit this section to put anything in it. This just an example.

Very Important!
Please keep in mind that you will need to have the Genesis Framework already installed on your blog. The cost of the framework is $59.95. This will get you a lifetime membership and free updates for the framework, which is an awesome deal.
If you are a developer, you know you can customize these themes on your own for your clients and add more money to your packaged deals. The Pro Plus StudioPress package is perfect for professional bloggers and developers. Check out the details below.

Need More Convincing?
There are thousands of plugins online to install on your blog, but installing all of them is impossible. One thing is for sure, you need to have a good web host or your blogging career won’t be very successful. Being on the Genesis Framework means there are custom plugins created especially for your community. Have a look at our mega list of Genesis Framework Plugins page to see which ones catch your interest.
